Wheel the World is an accessible travel platform that empowers people with disabilities to explore the world. Through online tools, listings, and resources, it helps travellers find fully accessible accommodations, experiences, and destinations, promoting inclusive tourism and equal opportunities for all.

This training prioritizes accessibility over depth, recognizing that most professionals seek UNDP guidance to inform internal follow-up rather than detailed risk analysis. It complements UNDP’s role in promoting Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), aiming to foster shared understanding and collaboration among businesses, consultants, civil society, and regulators for wider HRDD adoption.

This course provides an introduction to social protection, covering different issues including the human right to social security, the need for social protection over the life cycle (such as maternity, raising children, sickness, unemployment and disability benefits, old-age pensions as well as social health protection), the process of building universal social protection systems and addressing global challenges.

Duration: 4 weeks, 2-4 hours per week

This curriculum is a free resource that can be used by qualified, non-commercial organisations to further the reach and help support more disadvantaged young people to build a better future.
