FTT Membership & Audit Fees

FTT MEMBERSHIP FEES apply to all Members of Fair Trade Tourism, whether they are certified or not, and are payable annually.

Fees are based on the number of "full-time employees" (FTEs) or equivalent, i.e., two people working half time = one full-time employee. FTEs should include permanent and non-permanent employees, as well as any owners who are working in the daily operations of the business.

The Membership fees below are applicable from 1 November 2023.

Micro-enterprise (1 FTE)	R1,500
Very small enterprise (2-10 FTEs)	R3,000
Small (A) enterprise (11-25 FTEs)	R5,000
Small (B) enterprise (26-50 FTEs)	R6,000
Medium enterprise (51-100 FTEs)	R10,000
Large enterprise (101-300 FTEs)	R20,000
Groups, 300+ FTEs, and multi-site operations	On quotation

AUDIT FEES for FTT Certification are applicable every 3 (THREE) years in accordance with the FTT-Certified audit cycle. Audit fees will depend on the country in which the audit takes place, as well as the size of the business.
